Product Migration Options
Customers are encouraged to migrate to the Cisco ASA 5510 Adaptive Security Appliance, which provides significantly higher firewall and VPN performance, advanced security features for greater network protection, SSL VPN support, and a modular design that allows customers to add features such as intrusion prevention (IPS),antivirus, antispam, antiphishing, URL filtering, and more. For customers requiring even higher firewall and VPN performance, Gigabit Ethernet density, connection capacity, or small packet performance, Cisco recommends the Cisco ASA 5520 Adaptive Security Appliance.
